On January 4, 2026, a king tide pushed Corte Madera Creek over its banks and into the Larkspur Marina neighborhood. By noon, about half the streets were underwater. Most homes there sit a couple of feet up. The garages don't, and the garages took the worst of it. In one garage on Riviera Circle, the water reached about 4 feet.
